Overview
Sudoku Guru (“we”, “our”, or “the app”) is a Sudoku puzzle game for the web, iOS, and Android. This policy explains what information we handle, how it is used, and your choices. By using Sudoku Guru, you agree to this policy.
Information stored on your device
Sudoku Guru saves game progress, statistics, achievements, and settings locally on your device or in your browser. This includes puzzle state, difficulty preferences, language, dark mode, notification preferences, and similar gameplay options. Classic and daily play do not require an account or email address.
Notifications
If you opt in to reminders, the iOS and Android apps schedule local OS notifications on your device only. We do not upload push tokens or notification credentials to our servers for the mobile apps. On the website, optional web push reminders may store a push subscription endpoint on our infrastructure so we can deliver the reminder messages you requested. You can turn reminders off anytime in Settings or in your system or browser notification controls.
What we do not collect
We do not require an account for standard play. We do not currently show third-party advertising (including Google AdMob or Google AdSense), process in-app purchases or subscriptions, or sell your personal information. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Data retention
On-device and browser data remains until you clear it in Settings, clear site data in your browser, or uninstall the app. If you used web push reminders, related subscription records are removed when you disable reminders or unsubscribe from push in your browser.
Your choices
You can clear local Sudoku data from Settings. You can manage reminder preferences in Sudoku Guru Settings and in your device or browser notification settings. Questions about this policy? Email privacy@sudokuguru.app.
